Shelter Club was a fairly popular Green Bay LGBT destination for about 12 years. opening in 2004 in a nondescript building, largely lacking effective signage (see photos), it waas nevertheless a popular dance bar, show venue, and restaurant. Then on April 27,2017, the following appeared on the bar's Facebook page:
