Summary
Rainbow Room was a Madison, Wisconsin LGBT bar and dance club at 121 W. Main Street, opened in October 1999. It was the most successful of a rapid succession of bars at this downtown address and operated near the long-running Shamrock Bar, with patrons frequently moving between the two on weekends. The venue hosted drag and stripper shows, pageants, and parties. After an apparent change of ownership around 2003, it closed in late 2004 or early 2005.
