Summary
Fluid is a Milwaukee martini bar opened on July 26, 1998 by two former bartenders of the Triangle, Bill Wardlow and a partner known as Jimmy. It was popular from the start, drawing customers with an extensive menu of martini cocktails during the height of the martini craze, and benefited from its proximity to the dance club La Cage a half block away. After a falling out, Wardlow bought out his partner and continued as sole owner.
The bar became known for cooperative bar-crawl events, drag bingo, generous parties, and an enclosed outdoor patio added in 2014. It remained a popular destination, continuing to operate after the 2020 pandemic.
